A visit to the Liberation War Museum

A visit to the Liberation War Museum To visit the Liberation War Museum was really an exciting experience of my life. On 5 July, we visited the museum. We reached at 10 a.m. and a guide welcomed us warmly and took us on a quick tour of the different galleries of the museum. It has six galleries first of which demonstrates some rare photographs, documents, news-paper clipping, and objects used by the freedom fighters and the martyrs of our great Liberation War. In the third gallery we saw the Declaration of Independence by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. We were sad to see the heart-touching relics like the personal belongings of some of our martyred intellectuals and freedom fighters-a pair of glasses, a pen, a note-book, a moneybag, a soiled shirt and such other relics in the sixth gallery. Before leaving the museum, we watched a video film on the Liberation War and our Independence. We left the museum at 3 p.m. It was a great experience of my life.
