What should one possess to be a firefighter? How does he do his job?) A Firefighter A firefighter is an individual who dedicates his life to put out fires. He saves the helpless people during fires. His main job is to extinguish fire when a fire accident occurs in a place. Besides his main job of putting out fire, he also performs some extra duties. In spite of having potential threat, he goes ahead to prevent fires. He comes forward to create public awareness about fire safety. He trains the young people as well. Sometimes he speaks about preventing fires. He tells the students what to do if there is a fire. He provides many other valuable services to the community. To be a firefighter, a man should have courage, physical fitness, carefulness, a great soul and love for the humanity. A firefighter is a very significant figure in our society. He never cares of his own life. He is a real friend of the endangered people. We should show profound respect to him.
