Dear Peter

At first take my love. Hope that you are all well by the grace of almighty Allah. I am so so.

I got your letter a few days ago and I became very happy to get it. In your letter you have wanted to know about my country. Now I am going to describe you about it. The name of my country is Bangladesh. Dhaka is its capital. It is at South Asia. You know that once upon a time we were fully dependent. It become independent in 1971 after nine months of bloody war. Now we are fully free. It is the darling child of nature. It is one of the most famous and historical countries of the world. Its land area is 1,47,570 square kilometres. It is a small country but it has a large population. There are about 140 million people live here.

It is mainly an agricultural country. Rice, jute, sugar-cane and tea grow here well. Many kinds of fruits also grow here. There are many rivers in our country. The Padma, The Meghna and The Jamuna are the biggest of them. You shoud know that Bangladesh is the land of rivers as well. Cox�s bazar, Scent Martin island, Sundarbans and Rangamati are our most attractive places. Cox�s bazar is the longest sea beach in the world. There is also another sea beach called Kuakata. Lots of visitors or tourists come to Bangladesh with a view to visiting these places. The world famous Royal Bengal Tiger lives in the Sundarbans. Bangladesh is a peaceful country. We all people of different religions and communities live here in peace. There is no country in the world else like ours. You are cordially invited to visit this country. You will be amazed to see the natural beauty of country. I love my country very much. No more today.

Dear Seliml,

Take my love and affection. Hope, you are hale and hearty by the grace of almighty Allah. I am also well by his mercy. However, from your last letter I have come to learn that you are interested to know the picnic enjoyed by us. I along with some so our classmates arranged the picnic to Sonargaon. For this purpose we hired a bus. We bought food materials and mineral water. We also collected camera and micro phone with amplifier. We came to our school gate at 6.00 am and got in the bus in a body. Then the driver started it. Inside the bus we took our breakfast. Some of our classmates began to sing songs by using microphone. Some began to make fun and made us laugh and thus we refreshed ourselves staying at rest house. In the meantime the hired cooks began to cook food. We observed many old royal buildings and relics. We also took snaps of the ancient buildings and relics. At 2.00 pm we took our lunch. At 5.00 pm we again got in the bus. By singing songs and making fun we reached our destination.

If you were amidst us, we would be pleased and amused very much. We really missed you.
